Chai is often a blend of black tea leaves and different spices, and depending on which of those spices you use, it can range from sweet to packing a punch. Cardamom, cinnamon, and ginger are the most predominant spices you will likely taste with most chai that people like to make.
I've had it before, and I liked it well enough. I wouldn't say that I prefer it over all others, but it is a good one to have once in a while.
That is a surprising mix. It almost reads as if it would be a ... spicy taste? I'm not too certain I'm fond of the idea of drinking anything with the taste of ginger to it, though. Perhaps I would try it once.
The taste can be sweetened if you use honey or more cinnamon than other spices, or as some people do, they'll add milk or even ice, and have it as an iced chai rather than a hot one.
I get the feeling that would be more to your tastes if you try one that's been prepared under those circumstances.
[Didn't even have to say anything to make sure he got something out of this--he has a good feeling about you, Joshua.]
Just let me know when and where would be a good time to make it for you--I'm still in the process of saving up for a proper place to work from, so I will likely need to come to visit you, or you can visit me so that I can prepare it for you.

My crew should be docking on Eltrut sometime in the near future. If you're alright with boarding a corsair vessel, we could meet on our deck. I'm sure there would be no issues with such a meeting.
That works for me. I have no issues with meeting in that matter.

I have. Why do you ask?

I met a merchant on the street that had been arguing with someone about if it should be called, "chai tea" or only "chai" and it was a bit heated.
Do you know what the proper name should be?

I've never had something like chai before. What does it taste like? Do you prefer it?

Then we'll make it so.
Thank you again, Lord Ashengrotto.

[Just feel free to message him again when you're back in the area, and he will head immediately to your ship to meet with you.]
